Official Project Description

DNA transcription factor (TF) bind to regions of DNA and either promoting or preventing gene transcription.

We are interested in studying how to improve binding affinity of transcription factors to DNA to increase their activity.

This applies to many diseases, including cancer, but also other biological applications.

In this project, we are investigating DNA-protein interaction between transcription factors and DNA fragment by simulating many mutants of the same transcription factor.
